Take Our Eco-Tour
We See Dolphin Every Day!
Our Barrier Islands Experience
Given the range of our Study, the Dolphin Explorer
visits remote barrier islands. One is Keewaydin Island.
Pictured above, it is the longest un-bridged island on
the west coast of Florida. Over 140 loggerhead sea
turtle nests were sighted here this summer.
Our work also takes us south, on certain days, to tip
of the Cape Romano Aquatic Preserve. This is one of
the most remote barriers islands in the area.
The Dolphin Explorer is a 36 foot powered catamaran
designed for Gulf, bay and estuary waters. It is perfect
for getting 'up- close and personal " to observe and
photograph marine life.
